New York, NY – On August 28, 2023, the China Institute will proudly showcase a public exhibition of the exceptional works by internationally acclaimed emerging photographer, William Ma. This public event will be followed by an invitation-only reception and a silent auction featuring a curated selection of 34 of Ma’s photographic art, with all proceeds directed towards the China Institute Next Generation x Serica (CINGS) program.
Titled "Through the Viewfinder: Earth, Nature & Humanity," the exhibition is poised to unveil Ma’s profound commitment to environmental consciousness and the intrinsic allure of our planet. Spanning diverse global locales, these captivating compositions encapsulate a remarkable array of natural vistas, wildlife spectacles, and human encounters. Ma’s photographic creations transcend mere visuals - by seamlessly weaving visual narratives that resonate with audiences and imparting potent messages of veracity, compassion, and elegance. All proceeds from the forthcoming auction will be channeled directly into the China Institute Next Generation x Serica initiative, a cause that holds profound personal significance for William Ma. The auction is slated for 6:00pm on August 28th, 2023, during a private reception following the exhibition at the prestigious China Institute.
